Messerschmidt Incorporated is a 3rd generation, family owned manufacturers’ rep agency Incorporated in 1979. They cover Missouri, Kansas, Iowa & Nebraska and a portion of So Illinois. They have worked with customers in most all 50 states and provided specification support for international projects, too. DMInc primarily provides services to the A&D Community and a Qualified Group of Commercial Furniture Dealers.
The Company, and its manufacturers, participate in many national events and trade shows including shows such as Healthcare Design Show, Ed Spaces, Hospitality Design Show, Leading Age Professionals, and the Annual NEOCON Expo held in the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. We especially enjoy and remember all of the 40+ NEOCON’s we have attended.
Account Representatives and Service Personnel are located throughout the territory. The Company employs 2 full time interior designers to support their dealer & design partners with specification help on open plan, private office, and larger over all interior design solutions. They also take pride in fast and immediate response by employing their own full time customer service specialists to work directly with the manufacturers’ designated service teams.
The Company is proud to continue a long standing tradition of supporting many of the industry’s professional organizations including several architectural & interior design schools. And the group has a long history of Membership and being a Financial Sponsor to the Local Chapters of IIDA.

Cameron Messerschmidt

Managing Partner
Attended Northern Colorado University as a criminal law major and has been at DMInc for approx. 18yrs. Before moving his family to the Kansas City area in 2008, Cameron spent time in Saint Louis with the Company servicing architects, interiors designers and dealers in the Saint Louis Metro Area.
He is the 3rd generation of the family to be in the business and has earned the respect of his design, dealer and end user customers, as well as the manufacturers the Company represents. He is energetic and extremely well versed in product knowledge and product applications. He also has a great work ethic and works hard to produce a fair deal for all parties. Cameron also still plays Independant baseball at a high level competing against the likes of the KC Monarchs. Cameron is also responsible for the Company’s increased knowledge and use of technology tools and social media.
As President, Dick is charged with many duties & responsibilities which include his own personal sales for the Company. He has over 43 years of experience in the industry, originally transferring from Chicago where he started as a sales rep working for a rep group out of The Merchandise Mart. He provides a unique combination of both a strong business sense and creative demeanor. Dick is a skilled presenter and can captivate any audience. He is also well versed at more complex sales models and has negotiated several major agreements on behalf of the manufacturers’ he has carried. Dick also has consulted for several companies he has represented including traveling abroad to their suppliers to review designs suitable for the U.S. Markets.

Account Representative
Tiffany has extensive knowledge and experience traveling the territory as a Senior Regional Training Specialist & Architectural Representative for Lamin-Art Inc. And most recently as a Territory Manager for Atlas Carpet Mills.
She graduated from Maryville University of Saint Louis, a FIDER-accredited school, with a B.F.A. in Interior Design. She is and will continue to be an active IIDA Industry Member.
Tiffany resides in Saint Louis with her husband and 2 children and is a native to the area. She and her family can often be seen cheering on her beloved St. Louis Cardinals or St. Louis Blues depending on the season.
Tiffany Arens
Sales & Design Associate
Kim performs interior design and space planning for the majority of the Company. She is also responsible for accounts and sales in the State of Iowa.
Before coming to Dick Messerschmidt, Incorporated, Kim managed the Interior Design staff for the Commercial Furniture Division of Phelan’s Interiors in Cedar Rapids Iowa. Previously, she also was employed as an interior designer at Saxton’s, a Knoll Dealership, and OM Workspace in Minnesota.
Kim graduated from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa with a BA Interior Design. She obtained her interior design license early on and has kept it current by attending the appropriate CEU’s and other various seminars annually. She has also served on the Board of the Great Plains Chapter of IIDA.
Her NCIDQ Certificate Number is #21202.
Tiffany brings 6-1/2 years of commercial design experience from Eakes Office Solutions where she held the position of interior designer. She practiced interior design & space planning there communicating with their sales reps, customers and architects on the companies’ behalf. She is proficient in Auto Cad, GIZA, CET, CAP & Hedberg.
Prior, she spent 5 years at The Buckle, a retail clothing specialist headquartered in Nebraska. There she held multiple positions including Internet Content & Production Assistant; worked in the Internet Merchandise Department and became Travel Counselor & Event Planner where she interacted with various Buckle teammates including top executives and the CEO planning & facilitating career & regional meetings and travel.
Jody Kirkpatrick
Project Manager
Jody graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Liberal Arts and a Minor in Business and remains a true Hawkeye fan and supporter. In the past she has volunteered and served at various homeless shelters and has been involved with JDRF (the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
Jody brings deep industry experience and knowledge to Dick Messerschmidt, Incorporated. She was previously employed at a Steelcase dealership in Chicago where she was responsible numerous pre and post order activities including coordinating manufacturers and client issue management.
She uses these skills to manage key projects and work with the companies’ customers to provide product specifications and project quotes. Jody has approx. 10 years with Dick Messerschmidt, Incorporated as a customer service and project manager and is well liked by many of her customers and peers.
Beverly Rehkop
Customer Service Rep
Beverly has previously held various sales and service positions in our industry covering 30+ years. She has dealer, design and rep experience and came with some of the highest recommendations from several of our Kansas and Missouri Design Firms. She also has an extensive background in healthcare sales and service.
She holds both a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and a Master of Science in Clothing and Textiles from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. She is also committed to the Performing Arts in the Kansas City Area and has ongoing or previous work at The Kaufman Center for Performing Arts, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, The Folly Theatre and Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art.
Beverly performs a variety of service and inside sales functions for Dick Messerschmidt, Incorporated and often assists in quotations and specifications when necessary. Beverly has been with DMInc for approx. 7years.
